Ketchup with is one of the most common things found on a table all around the world. Kids can’t imagine eating their favorite food without ketchup. But nobody reads the labels on the stored-bought ketchup.

Ketchup that we buy from the store contains high fructose corn syrup which is linked to number of health issues, distilled vinegar, corn syrup, onion powder, spice, salt, red ripe tomatoes and natural flavoring which means dozens of chemicals to constitute a natural-like flavor. With other words, store bought ketchup contains a lot of sugar, preservatives and additives.

So the question is: Why would you want to consume it?

How to Make Homemade Ketchup

Homemade Ketchup is very easy to prepare and it is very healthy and delicious.

Homemade Ketchup Recipe:


Peeled tomatoes
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
2-3 tablespoons raw honey
¼ clove of garlic
1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt
1/8 tablespoon pepper
1/8 tablespoon cinnamon
½ onion
1/8 tsp clove


Mix all of the ingredients from the list.
Pour into a glass jar and seal tightly with a lid.
Let sit for 2-3 days at room temperature.
Use as needed and keep it in the refrigerator.
