Red nose

While redness is most commonly associated with blushing, a persistently scarlet-colored nose could be a warning of something much more serious. First up – it could be a sign that you are drinking too much booze. Alcohol dilates the small blood vessels, leading to a buildup of blood near the surface of your nose and making it appear red. Redness can also alert you to the autoimmune condition lupus, which causes fatigue and joint pain as well as the butterfly-shaped rashes which typically appear on the bridge of the nose. Very often, high blood pressure can lead to a reddening of your nose.
